Site Manager / Project Manager - Bridges - Carlisle

The Company

A Civil Engineering Contractor with over 14 years' experience is looking to recruit due to recent project wins.



The Role

As the Site Manager / Project Manager you will lead a bridge project in the North of England. You will also be responsible for ensuring that project is completed within budget and on time.



Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

* For this role you must possess the following:
* Bridges and Structures Experience
* Degree, HNC or Equivalent in Civil Engineering / Construction Qualification
* Previous Experience in Bridge Construction
* Knowledge of FRC, rebar and concrete in relation to civil structures
* SMSTS



Duties

* Client Liaison
* Delivery of works
* Temporary works coordination
* Understand work programmes
* Undertake toolbox talks and SHEQ briefings
* Providing information to the project planners
* Directly supervise Sub Agents, General Foreman
* Resource allocation and management of Site staff
* Indirectly supervise Site Engineer, Foreman and Gangers
* Communication at all levels regarding progress of projects
* Ensure safe systems of work and the Company Safety Policy are practiced
* Reporting to the senior Manager on Department budget control procedures for contracts and progress against programme
