The Company

A North West based contractor who holds high expertise in delivering economical, first-rate construction schemes. They operate between a wide range of sectors in conjunction with Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Retail. They target on going above and beyond their expectations to gain client satisfaction and approval.



The Project

As a highly experienced Senior Project Manager, you will be working on a £50m New Build High Rise Residential development in Manchester. You will play a crucial role within the team and wider business to ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* A proven track record of working on large residential schemes
* Experience of working in a similar position on a high value project

Additional skills;

* Ability to multitask
* Great presentation skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Confident and proactive in managing own work load
* Excellent IT skills including Cost Management systems, Microsoft Office and Teams, Adobe and PowerPoint

The Role

* Job Title: Senior Project Manager
* Job Type:12 Months Freelance
* Project: £50m Residential Development
* Reporting to: Project Director

Duties

* Able to read and understand drawings
* Reliable with strong time management skills
* Conduct meetings on-site with architect, client and construction team
* Planning and monitoring works and regularly reviewing the programme
* Oversee each turn-key project, including details like permit submission and design evaluations
* Work with the client from the start of the project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
* Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
* Take responsibility for the overall performance of the project including, quality, programme, client satisfaction, commercial performance and delivery
* Fully responsible for the successful operational delivery on site ensuring safety, product quality, are completed within the contracted timescales, safely and within financial controls
