The Company
A privately owned Main Contractor that is working on a framework delivering leisure and commercial refurbishment projects in Sheffield.
The Role
Project managing multiple fast paced refurbishments to buildings ranging in value from £50k to £1.5 million across South Yorkshire.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
As the Project Manager you must possess the following;
* Ø Prior experience within the construction industry working for a Main Contractor for a minimum of 3 years.
* Ø Prior experience with refurbishment projects between £50k - £1.5m
* Ø A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations.
* Ø Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works.
Duties
* Formulate, develop and monitor a program of works
* Setting up and chairing sub-contractor and client progress meetings throughout the construction period.
* Manage day to day operational aspects of the project(s)
* Reviewing all contractor RAM's
* Assist the Commercial Director with project costings
* Ensure quality is controlled and maintained through the projects.
* Manage successful handover of projects and the aftercare that follows.
