A well-established construction contractor based in the Midlands and operating nationwide. Dedicated to developing high standard luxury schemes to ensure client satisfaction, specialising in residential care homes. They have up to 25 years' experience within the industry and hold a knowledgeable perspective on a large range of services. They hold a successful track record of delivering prestigious projects to an exceptional industry standard.



The Project

As an experienced Project Manager on a new £8m residential care home in Bridlington, you will be tasked with leading the project from inception to completion. You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment. The initial project is due to run for approximately 18 months with several other similar schemes in the pipeline for Hull and the surrounding areas.

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

The Role

* Job Title: Project Manager

* Reporting to: Contracts Manager



Duties

* Cost Control
* Progress reporting
* Running ECI projects
* Chair and attend site meetings
* Conduct regular quality inspections
* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Liaising with the end client and key stakeholders
* Management of onsite labour and subcontractors
* Supervising teams comprising various disciplines
* Oversee and implement health & safety regulations
* Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
* Liaise with the commercial team on estimating costs and timeframes
* Reaching an agreement with planners and relevant production staff on construction methods and schedules
* Organizing resources for the comprehensive management and implementation of the project, including the appointment of subcontractors to perform the necessary work
* Establish and maintain control over planning, programming, financials, resources, materials, subcontractors, health & safety and other external factors throughout the cycle of the project
