Project Manager


The Company

A privately owned construction & property Consultancy based in North Yorkshire that specialises in delivering a range of high specification developments across the heritage, residential, leisure, industrial and distribution sectors for private clients.

Requirements

As the Project Manager you must possess the following;

* Hold a Construction Manager or Construction Project Manager Degree
* Prior experience working for a Main Contractor for a minimum of 5 years
* Strong knowledge of MS Project or ASTA to create construction programmes
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel
* Thorough knowledge and experience of Design & build contracts
* Understanding the full processes of construction contracts
* Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of project management

The Role

Project Manager to work alongside the pre-development team to advise on build specifications, schedules, drawings, and programmes on a wide range of heritage, residential, leisure, industrial and distribution projects up to £5 million

Duties

* Work alongside the pre-development team to advise on build specifications, schedules, drawings, and programmes
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
* Assist with project procurement requirements
* Produce & present pre-start presentations to clients and staff.
* Ensure quality is controlled and maintained through the projects.
* Day-to-day single point of contact for all site and construction matters for the client and professional team.
* Interrogation of the design, materials, and workmanship to ensure best practice and quality through all elements.
* Consistent and detailed management of the site delivery team and sub-contractors, including regular programme management.
* Management and coordination of site health, safety, and environment.
* Quality delivery, successful completion strategies, and checks.
* Close and archive projects

This is a permanent position with the following on offer for the successful candidate:
