Site Manager / Duty Manager
The Company
An award winning well established and well-regarded Contractor with over 50 years industry experience are looking to add a Site Manager and a Duty Manager. This is to work on a major railway infrastructure project in London.
The Project
As the Site Manager / Duty Manager you will oversee the replacement of transformers and copper wiring, Pway and Civils works on a 20 mile stretch of railway. Due to the size of the project, we are looking to bring on board a Site Manager (Days) and a Duty Manager (Nights & Weekends)
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;
* A Valid PTS
* SSSTS / SMSTS
* Experienced in managing Civil works in the rail industry
It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;
* Experienced as a Site Manager
* Experience over seeing multidisciplinary works on a rail project
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
The Role

* Reporting to: Senior Project Manager
DUTIES
* Responsible for quality of works on site
* Maintaining Health & Safety standards on site
* Liaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required
* Administration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns
* Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project
* Managing subcontractors by ensuring the programme of works are completed
* Plan, coordinate & motivate effective deployment of allocated personnel and resources
* Update weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & share with Project / Contracts Managers
* Promote & implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies
