Our client is a is a well-established electrical and mechanical engineering subcontractor, with a strong foundation built on years of industry expertise. They hold an extensive portfolio and order book managing major projects across the UK. They specialise in designing and installing building services nationwide, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and safe solutions across education, residential, aviation, leisure, and commercial developments.

The Project

As an experienced Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installations on a new build industrial development with an M&E value in excess of £12m located in Northampton. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, playing a key role in its overall success.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS / JIB / ECS
* First Aid (Desirable not essential)

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Demonstrated industry expertise with a proven history of successfully managing electrical packages for new build industrial projects
* Extensive background within the industry with at least 3 years of experience working in an Electrical Site Manager position or similar for a leading contractor or subcontractor
* Experience working on projects within the industrial sector is advantageous however all candidates with a portfolio of managing mechanical packages on medium-large scale developments are of interest

* Oversee subcontractors
* Conduct regular safety audits and site inspections
* Address on-site technical challenges and apply effective solutions
* Approve invoices for electrical work and manage contractor payment
