Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is a major national contractor operating within a household name energy supplier. Their electrical engineering division delivers a wide range of engineering services across the renewables sector. Workload continues to grow and they have identified the need to bring in two solar design engineers to support their business.

The successful applicants will be working predominantly from home on a varied range of solar engineering schemes and associated systems.

To apply for these roles you must meet the following criteria:

* An experienced electrical design engineer with demonstrable solar and renewables design experience
* Strong technical expertise in solar systems, industrial PV systems, plant layout, cable design and LV HV grid connections
* AutoCAD experience
* Happy working autonomously
* Confident working with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
* Full driving license
* Fully eligible to work in the UK

These positions are remote roles but occasional office visits and client meetings will be required. The clients' main offices are near London and near Manchester so proximity to one of these offices would be advantageous but not essential. Our first preference is to recruit on a salaried basis, but contractors with exceptional technical expertise are also welcome to apply.
