Technical Coordinator

The Project

As a skilled Technical Coordinator, you will be based in the Head Office located in Greater Manchester, supporting the Design Manager and wider Design team to ensure all technical requirements are accounted for on various New Build Residential Schemes across Greater Manchester and the North West. You will be heavily involved in the pre-construction and design stages, through to the on-site construction.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

* Strong IT skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience and CAD abilities
* Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification

It is preffered if you;

* Have an architectural or engineering background with the ability to use AutoCAD

Duties

* Communicate with the Procurement and Commercial team
* Attend any supplier and subcontractor meetings as required
* Ensure work drawings are in compliance with all relevant standards
* Undertake regular visits to sites to ensure correct use of the materials
* Manage the distribution of preliminary construction and as built information internally
* Ensure building regulation and warranty conditions are cleared without delay to project
* Review all materials being used during the development to ensure compliance with all regulations
* Understanding of statutory requirements, including Building Regulations and LABC warranty standards
* Ensure all statutory enquiries, crossovers, sewer connections and any other section agreements are submitted
* Support the Technical Coordinator with monitoring and controlling all production information alongside the Project QS
* Assist the Technical Coordinator in ensuring that sufficient technical construction details are available to the on site teams
* Support the Design Team in issuing briefs to consultants and sub-contractors to ensure the programme, scope and fee is being stuck to
