Senior Project Manager


The Company

Our client is a privately owned, leading healthcare construction contractor with over 20 years in the industry. They provide modular medical spaces to some of the UK's top hospitals and healthcare developments, and are on a range of public and private healthcare frameworks. They provide an efficient, turnkey service and partner with an impressive supply chain to provide the best possible service.

The Project

As a highly experienced Project Manager, it will be your role to oversee the completion and success of a prestigious £30m Hospital Extension, in South West London. You will play a crucial role, ensuring that the project is not only built successfully but also aligns with the strategic goals and operational needs of the healthcare facility.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with tier 1 and tier 2 leading construction contractors
* Demonstratable experience of a management position on a large healthcare project, with values in excess of £10m

* Understanding of construction laws and regulations
* In depth understanding of contract terms and conditions

Duties

* Chair regular meetings
* Develop and manage project budgets
* Carry out health and safety procedures
* Supporting and leading the project team
* Foster a collaborative and positive working environment
* Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
* Assemble project teams and assign tasks to team member
* Monitor progress of project team by holding reviews regularly
* Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
* Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
* Conduct inspections to verify work quality and compliance with specifications
* Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensure that all parties involved in the project adhere to contract terms and conditions
