General Foreman - Civils - Yorkshire Framework

The Company



A Civil Engineering Contractor with over 40 year's experience and over 180 employees. They have sites across the UK and looking to expand due to recent project wins.



The Project



As an General Foreman, you will ensure that the work is carried out on time and to the company quality standards. The work is on a large water framework in the north of England.



Requirements



For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* SMSTS / SSSTS
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field



For this role it is essential that you hold the following experience below;

* Experienced in Delivering Civil works on Water Treatment Plant is ideal
* Experienced in delivering civils work including rc structures, drainage & deep drainage, pipework, ducting, access roads, etc



The Role

* Job Title: General Foreman
* Location: Sites Across Yorkshire
* Reporting to: Project Manager



Duties

* Maintain health & safety standards on site
* Complete toolbox talks and other briefings on site
* Procurement of plant and material through the company platform
* Managing the work force, labour and subcontractors in the delivery general civil works
* Aid in the completion of Safety Plans, RAMS & COSHH
* Maintain accurate site record keeping including diaries, allocations sheets, plants returns and goods received notes
* Oversee subcontractors and ensure they are working to their own check sheets
* Liaise with site operatives and subcontractors to ensure work stays on programme
* EnsurethataRiskAssessmentandStatementofMethod(RAMS)andaPermittoWorksystemareinplacebeforeworkcommences
