Site Manager - Deep Drainage, Heavy Civils - Yorkshire


The Company

A Civil Engineering Contractor with over 40 year's experience and over 180 employees. They have sites across the UK and looking to expand due to recent project wins.

The Project

As an experienced Site Manager, you will ensure that the work is carried out on time and to the company quality standards. The work is on a large water framework across Yorkshire

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications & experience as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving License
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Has excellent written & verbal reporting skills
* Knowledge of SHEQ procedures in a construction environment
* Site Management experience in civil engineering sector
* NVQ Level 5 or 6 Site Manager
* Exerience in Managing deep drainage, rc structures, access roads

For this role it is desirable that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Temporary Works Coordinator
* RASWA Supervisor
* NRASWA Streetworks
* Experienced on clean water and waste water developments, Flood defence / alleviation works and Environmental Agency

The Role

* Job Title: Site Manager
* Duration: Permanent
* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Responsible for quality of works on site
* Maintaining Health & Safety standards on site
* Managing quality assurance in line with company procedures
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Reviewing and approving timesheets, holidays and absences
* Ensure work is being completed on time and within budget
* Liaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required
* Administration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns
* Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project
* Managing and organising all employees and sub-contractors on site
* Plan, coordinate & motivate effective deployment of allocated personnel and resources
* Update weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & share with Project / Contracts Managers
* Promote & implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies
