Site Supervisor/Foreman - Deep drainage, Heavy Civils Yorkshire

The Company

A Civil Engineering Contractor with over 40 year's experience and over 180 employees. They have sites across the UK and looking to expand due to recent project wins.

The Project

As an experienced Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the works on a Water framework across Yorkshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* SSSTS
* First Aid
* Driver's License
* Experience of supervising on civil infrastructure developments
* Exerience supervising / overseeing of deep drainage, access road construction and rc structures

It is desirable that you hold the following qualifications or experience:

* RASWA Supervisor
* Asbestos Awareness
* Slinger / Signaller
* NVQ Level 3 Construction Supervisor
* Experience on Clean Water and Waste Water civil developments, Envinronmental Agency, Flood Defence / Alleviation

The Role

* Job Title: Site Supervisor
* Job Type: Permanent
* Reporting to: Site Manager

Duties

* Monitor and produce good quality of work
* Supervising the site operatives and sub contractors
* Managing and providing as-built information
* Liaising with the client and third parties
* Assisting the site manager with the day-to-day running of the site
* Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors
* Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
* Delivering site inductions to new starters
* Ensuring health and safety standards remain compliant to the company's procedures and ways of working
* Carrying out safety talks and daily briefings
* Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
