The Company

A market leading off-site construction contractor with over 50 years in the build industry. They provide a diversity of works with a portfolio of high profile public and private framework projects with values in excess of £50m+ alongside an extensive list of future works in the pipeline.

The Role

As an experienced Quality Controller based in East Ridings, you will oversee the factory stage quality inspection and assessments of offsite modular units for new student accommodation, residential, offices and various government frameworks. All units are pre-finished with MEP services and decorative finishes, you will be responsible for ensuring that all are completed to the highest possible standard.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications;

* CSCS Card

For this role, it is essential that you possess;

* Experience in the use of snagging software
* Excellent both written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent computer abilities alongside relevant IT skills

The Role

* Job Title: Quality Controller
* Duration: 3 Months
* Project: Modular units across a number of different sectors at the East Ridings factory
* Reporting to: Quality Manager

Duties

* QA
* Using snagging software
* QC checks to maintain high standards
* Responsible for signing off and rejection of finished units
* Liaising with the Factory Manager regarding quality issues
* Ensuring all units are finished in line with technical drawings
* Inspecting finished units and comparing alongside the drawings
* Collating customer feedback and managing any complaints / feedback
* Working together with team leaders to discuss solutions to quality issues
* Maintaining a high standard of quality control records and ensuring all files are organised and up to date
