Administration Assistant (Part-Time)


The Company

A well established and ambitious regional subcontractor who specialise in all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering. They have a proven record of delivering exceptional civils projects for the last 5+ years to a number of industry respected main contractors. They have a full orderbook of projects up to £5m+ coupled with a year on year increasing turnover.

The Project

As an experienced Administration Assistant, you will be based at the Head Office in Hull and provide administrative support on various groundwork and utility projects across Yorkshire. Please note, this is a part-time (16 hours) freelance position with flexibility on how the hours are spread over the week. There is also the opportunity for the role to grow and evolve with increased responsibility and hours added as you settle into the position.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following skills & experience as a minimum;

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Previous experience of dealing with payments and invoices
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Previous experience in professionally using social media would be advantageous but not essential

The Role

* Job Title: Administration Assistant
* Type: Temporary to Permanent, Part Time - 16 Hours Per Week
* Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
* Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Duties

* Maintaining office systems
* Dealing with incoming e-mail and post
* Receiving and replying to email queries
* Keeping records up to date using Excel and Word
* Ordering stationery / materials for the project team
* Use Outlook, Word and Excel on a day-to-day basis
* Providing support to our Project team when required
* Producing documents, reports and presentations to a high standard
* Liaising with staff and clients in an effective and professional manner
* Diary management and booking of meeting rooms - coordinating calendar and setting up video calls
