Senior Engineer - Yorkshire Civils

A well-established civil engineering and building contractor, who have been operating in the industry for over 30 years' experience. They have experience through a range of sectors including industrial, education, residential and infrastructure.
The Project
As a Senior Engineer, you will work on a large civils framework consisting of bridges & structures, earthworks, groundworks & flood defences and highways around Yorkshire.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
For this role it is essential that you hold the following experience below;
* 4 years + experience as a Senior Engineer or similar role on civil projects
The Role
* Job Title: Senior Engineer

* Reporting to: Site Agent
* Location: Doncaster
Duties
* Supervising Works
* Attend in-house progress meetings
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Checking deliveries before being signed for
* To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
* Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
* Overseeing the earthworks, drainage, bridges & structures, groundworks, concrete works and general civils
* Overseeing excavations
* Supervising subcontractors on site
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
* Completing site documentation
* Completing QA / QC documentation and ensuring the project runs to company standards
* Running the quality side of the project
* Ensuring project works match the specifications required
