Permanent Quantity Surveyor Role!

One of our main clients are needing a Quantity Surveyor to join their excting, already well-established team. They specialise in live refurb works.



Role and Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure refurbishment projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
* Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide cost-saving recommendations.
* Evaluate contractor bids and proposals, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards.
* Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and manage cost-related concerns.
* Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms and agreements.
* Prepare detailed reports on project financials for senior management and clients.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal project outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with involvement in healthcare or public infrastructure projects.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in cost estimation, budget management, and tender processes.
* Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
* Familiarity with relevant software such as cost estimating tools and project management software.
* Membership in relevant professional bodies (RICS, CIOB, etc.) is a plus.
