Mechanical Site Manager
Site Manager Role - Gatwick
Our client are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Manager with a background in HVAC systems to lead our team in the construction of a 200-room hotel. As the Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of this exciting project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day construction activities on the site, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
* Lead and manage a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
* Implement and enforce all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Manage project budgets and schedules, making necessary adjustments to ensure project milestones are met.
* Collaborate closely with the project management team to address any issues, changes, or modifications to the project plan.
* Specifically oversee the HVAC installation and ensure it is completed to the highest quality standards.
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including the client, to provide updates on project progress.
* Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, budget, and safety.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a site management role, with a strong background in HVAC systems and hotel construction.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record in managing projects on time and within budget.
* Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in the construction industry.
* Degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
* Knowledge of relevant construction software and tools.
This is a very good freelance role on until atleast the end of the year.
