The Company

A well-established civil engineering and building contractor, who have been operating in the industry for over 30 years' experience. They have experience through a range of sectors including industrial, education, residential and infrastructure.

The Project

As an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will ensure that the work is carried out on time and to the company quality standards. The work is on a steel framed, reinforced concrete building development.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications & experience as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving License
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Has excellent written & verbal reporting skills
* Knowledge of SHEQ procedures in a construction environment
* Site Management experience in civil engineering sector

For this role it is essential that you hold the following experience below;

* Experienced in steel frame and RC frames and groundworks

The Role

* Job Title: Senior Site Manager
* Duration: Contract / Permanent
* Reporting to: Project Manager
* Location: Kings Lynn

Duties

* Responsible for quality of works on site
* Maintaining Health & Safety standards on site
* Managing quality assurance in line with company procedures
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Reviewing and approving timesheets, holidays and absences
* Ensure work is being completed on time and within budget
* Liaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required
* Administration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns
* Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project
* Managing and organising all employees and sub-contractors on site
* Plan, coordinate & motivate effective deployment of allocated personnel and resources
* Update weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & share with Project / Contracts Managers
* Promote & implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies
