Site Engineer - Sustainable Urban Drianage - Sheffield

A well-established civil engineering and building contractor, who have been operating in the industry for over 30 years' experience. They have experience through a range of sectors including industrial, education, residential and infrastructure.

The Project



As a Site Engineer, you will carry out work on a Sustainable Urban Drainage Scheme.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal



For this role it is desirable that you hold the following skills & experience below;

* Experienced in Sustainable Urban Drainage Schemes is ideal
* Experienced in earthworks, excavations, landscaping is necessary

The Role

* Job Title: Site Engineer
* Duration: Permanent
* Reporting to: Site Manager
* Location: Sheffield



Duties

* Supervising Works
* Attend in-house progress meetings
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Checking deliveries before being signed for
* Setting out and surveying of the site
* To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
* Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
* Setting out for drainage, earthworks, landscaping
* Overseeing excavations
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
* Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development
