Trainee Assistant Site Manager


The Company

With over 80 years of experience, our client is one of the most well-established family-run residential developers in South Yorkshire with their team boasting a wealth of experience across the industry. They pride themselves on a high level of design and for providing a bespoke service to each of their clients.



The Project

As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with an experienced Assistant Site Manager on various new build residential developments in the South Yorkshire region. Projects will consist of up to 100 units of bespoke 3-5 bedroom houses. You will receive extensive training and mentorship as well as the opportunity to gain various construction related qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject
* Must hold a full UK drivers license



It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience in a construction environment / basic knowledge of construction

* Reporting to: Assistant Site Manager

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Confidently support the Site Manager
* Ordering materials, plant and labour for site
* Occasionally providing cover for the Site Manager when required
* Assisting in the management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Accompany the Site Manager and NHBC inspectors during site inspections and take immediate actions when required
