health & Safety Manager

Permanent Health & Safey Manager Role!



A key client is needing a Health & Safety manager to join their team, on a permanent basis. You will be based in Halifax in the main office, working from home a couple of times is available and there will be occasional visits to sites, Nationwide.

With a strong track record of successful projects Nationwide, they are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to uphold their safety standards and contribute to their continued success.

Role and Responsibilities: As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be a key figure in the organization, ensuring the well-being of all personnel involved in our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
* Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
* Collaborating closely with project teams to promote a culture of safety.
* Overseeing the compliance of all sites with health and safety regulations.
* Leading incident investigations and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

* Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
* Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) would be advantageous.

This role is based in the Halifax office, home working and visiting projects Nationwide.
