The Company

A well-established construction and civil engineering company based in Scotland. They have over 35 years' worth of experience completing a range of civil and construction projects across Scotland. Having over 200 employees they are looking to add quality personal to their team near Aberdeen.

The Project

As an experienced Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees, compliance of regulations and working practices and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Package
* An understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* SMSTS
* Experience of AutoCAD
* Temporary Works Coordinator
* Experienced in CDM Regulations

The Role

* Job Title: Technical Engineer
* Job Type: Permanent
* Location: Aberdeenshire
* Reporting to: Senior Technical Engineer

Duties

* Support the Senior Technical Engineer and Technical Director
* To prepare, file and record drawings for business and site needs
* Compile Health and Safety File documentation (As-Built File)
* Carrying out precise works to project specifications
* Support the selection of techniques, procedures and methods to undertake engineering tasks Support the design and development of engineering solutions including temporary works
* Use oral and written methods effectively for the communication of technical and other information to professionals, elected members and any other 3rd Parties
* Prepare project specific RAMS & CPP's
* Compile project specific existing utility drawings
* Receiving and assessing design changes from the client
* Attend site design, review and progress meetings
* Compile and manage RFI Schedules
* Attend training for the upkeep of professional competencies
* Direct point of contact between the client and the company
* Facilitate agreement of variations
* Liaise with clients, local authorities and any other 3rd parties to progress works
