The Project

Working as an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will be working closely and reporting to Commercial Manager whilst overseeing the reactive maintenance of various pubs and restaurants. This will be based across the Midlands and Nottingham.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* Educated to Degree level in BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Has a healthy track record of Quantity Surveying
* Holds extensive experience in working on reactive maintenance works

The Role

* Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Duties

* Procurement
* Analysis of tender allowances
* Closely monitoring site activities
* Preparing material reconciliations
* Reporting to Commercial Manager
* Cash management and maximization
* Monitoring and overseeing measures
* Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
* Must be team-focused and results focused
* Preparing and submitting material delivery sheets
* Monitor sub-contractor performance in consultation with senior staff
* Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients
* Develop accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments
* Working closely with subcontractors to ensure accurate costs and payments
* Participate in the recording of delays & preparation of any request for extensions of time
* Generate/maintain relevant records, accurate filing and support for all commercial functions
* Preparation and administration of procurement advice, tenders, tender reviews and advice
* Ensure deadlines are actively managed and progress is reported to supervisors as required
* Provide tender analysis to relevant people for approval of proposed sub-contractor prior to placing of orders
* Participate in the management of the supply chain and project costs of construction pro
