Finishing Manager
The Role
Assistant Site Manager on a £40 million Accommodation project in Liverpool. You will assist the Senior Site Manager with the fit out of one of the blocks. This contract starts on 21/08/2023 and is due to complete November 2023.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
As the Assistant Site Manager, you must possess the following;
* Essential you have 2+ years' experience working as a Site Supervisor / Foreman / Assistant Site Manager on Residential / Apartment projects
* Ideally from an Internals trade background
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced construction environment
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* CSCS Card
Duties
* Liaising with internal / external sub-contractors
* Reporting on project progress to the Senior Site Manager
* Ensuring high quality of workmanship is maintained at all times
* Supervising site labour (both directly employed and sub-contract)
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Assist in the supervision of construction workers and subcontractors
* Overseeing project schedules and ensuring working is completed on time
* Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspection
* Ensuring a safe and tidy site is maintained at all times and that site rules are adopted by all site personnel
This is a long-term freelance position with a competitive rate (£230 - £240 per day, working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 8pm) with the addition of weekend shifts. For more information or to apply please contact Sam Hunter - Principal Consultant - 07539 430 376
