Freelance Site Manager Role!



The Company

Our client is a big contractor based in the North West, working Nationwide. They deal with in a variety of projects inluding Leisure, Retail & Commercial.



The Project

Working freelance as a Site Manager, you will be based in travelling to Dundee working on a large Student Accommodation fit out scheme. You will be ensuring you deliver this project in a timely and efficient manor, up to a high standard of work.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Black card
* SMSTS
* First aid

Additional skills;

* Ability to travel
* Indicate being a team leader
* Have confidence in your role
* Strong working knowledge of working in the construction industry



The Role

* Job Title: Site Manager
* Project: Student Accommodation Fit Out
* Duration: 4 weeks
* Reporting to: Contracts Manager



Duties

* Health & Safety
* Quality Assurance
* Progress reporting
* Ordering materials
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Participate in site discipline meetings
* Management of on-site labour including subcontractors
* Ensure project is delivered to a high standard, on time and to budget
* Working closely with and providing regular reports to the Contracts Manager
* Maintain daily records including progress pictures within project file to support management
* Assist in the preparation of RAMS & ensure they are reviewed and signed off on a daily basis
