Environmental Advisor - Highways Civil Engineering

The Project



As an Environmental Advisor, you will ensure that projects remain compliant to the company's HS&E standards.



Requirements



For this role it is desirable that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Experienced in Microsoft Office, ActiveSHEQ, Sphera Cloud and Power Bi
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Experience as an Environmental Advisor or a similar role in the Construction or Civil Engineering sectors
* Knowledge of reporting systems and data analytics
* Driving Licence
* Minimum of a HND, Degree or equivalent in the areas of Construction, Engineering, Geography, Environmental Sciences etc

Duties

* Create and support a environment that supports the companies Health, Safety & Environment culture to deliver Health, Safety & Environment excellence
* Aid in the onboarding, management and review of our supply chain partners
* Supports the companies learning and development programme by producing and delivering training sessions on best practice guidance, codes of practice and environmental information to senior teams and external parties
* Completing inspections and environmental reviews of the company sites on a regular basis
* Conduct site safety and environmental audits and ISO 14001 audits
* Supporting in the review of high-risk RAMS
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders through the project lifecycle
* Provide operational and site teams environmental input from the planning stage through to completion and ensure the implementation of company HS&E standards
