Setting Out Engineer - Glasgow - RC Frame - 12 Months

The Company

Our client is a well-established Civil Engineering Company with over 25 year's experience carrying out projects across the UK. Working across multiple sectors including Water, Groundworks, Concrete, Rail and Highways. They are looking to bring in an experienced Setting Out Engineer due to the winning of exciting new projects.



The Project



As a Setting Out Engineer, you will carry out work on a 13-storey development in the centre of Glasgow.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* HNC / NVQ or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

For this role it is desirable that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of engineering principles and CDM Regs
* Must have extensive experience setting out Groundworks, drainage, concrete slabs & columns
* Experienced in QA and completing paperwork
* Experienced in Multi Storey RC Frame Buildings

Duties

* Completing QA
* Attend team briefs
* Completing relevant paperwork
* Attend in-house progress meetings
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting out Sites and organising facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Setting out of drainage, concrete slabs and columns
* Keep up to date and accurate site diaries & other site admin
* Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
