Assistant Health and Safety Advisor
The Company
A privately owned Principal Contractor based in West Yorkshire which has a track record in delivering specialist, structural repair and refurbishment contracts across the UK & Ireland. Operating within both public and private sectors, our client has a diverse and stable workload moving forward.
The Role
As the Health and Safety Advisor, reporting into the H&S Manager you will need to undertake H&S duties across multiple sites across the UK & Ireland. You will have an integral role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the onsite teams.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
For this role you must possess the following;
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction health and safety
* Hold a NEBOSH qualification
* Hold a full UK driving license
* Comfortable with travelling across the UK & Ireland
* Knowledge of H&S within the Construction industry is essential.
Duties
* Reporting to the Group HSE Manager
* Site visiting auditing / site H&S support
* Confident approach to Accident / Incident Investigation and reporting
* Implementation and effective communication of health and safety policies to all levels
* Risk management
* Site auditing Standards and the preparation and delivery of health & safety in-house training requirements
* Detail orientated with the ability to produce accurate reports for senior management.
* Assessing RAMS
