Freelance Finishing Foreman

The Project
As an experienced Freelance Finishing Foreman, you will be working on a social housing scheme in Northampton, with values up to £20m. The projects will be mainly New Build Residential Schemes with a mixture of Housing and Apartments.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* CSCS
* SMSTS
* Relevant industry experience
* Experience of using snagging software such as SnagRr or FieldView
It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
* Previous experience working on snagging and finishing new build residential schemes
The Role
* Job Title: Finishing Foreman
* Project: Residential Scheme in Northampton
* Duration: 3 Months
* Reporting to: Project Manager
Duties
* Ordering materials
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Liaising with internal sub-contractors
* Conducting quality and safety inspections
* Ensuring work is finished to a high standard
* Reporting on project progress to senior managers
* Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
* Overseeing finishing trades and labour throughout the site
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Assist in the supervision of construction workers and subcontractors
* Overseeing project schedules and ensuring working is completed on time
* Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspections
