Framework Quality Lead - Nuclear Civils


The Company

A well-established construction and engineering company with a company turnover in excess of £800m. Our client carries out engineering and construction projects in various sectors including healthcare, residential, commercial, education, heritage & defence. The company has aspirations to become Britain's Best Builder, proving this by their participation in building some of Britain's most recognisable projects and buildings.

The Project

As an experienced Framework Quality Lead, you will lead the delivery of an exemplar quality culture across all projects under the framework.

Includes Subsistence, accommodation & package

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experiences as a minimum;

* Has experience in a Senior Management Team in a large company
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
* Demonstratable track record of leading and delivering a quality change programme in the civil engineering sector or related sector

Duties

* Support the company in changing regulations to ensure our compliance
* Development and successful implementation of the quality control strategy in line with the company's quality control strategy
* Development of infrastructure to support the implementation of a positive quality control culture
* Provide competent, experienced knowledge, skills and advice to establish and promote quality control in all activities throughout the framework
* Act as an expert on all matters related to quality control
* Provide a hands-on approach as needed to help projects maintain specifications and improve qualifications
* Support and interact regularly with Assurance and ETS subject matter experts to provide regular technical input to the Quality Management System, ensuring continuous improvement after plan, control and performance
* Implement technology driven processes that track and report our quality metrics against broader business goals (Build Sure) and enable us to act quickly on the quality strategy.
* Identify trends and opportunities for improvement and analyse problems caused by frequent deviations; identify preventive measures that can be shared throughout the company as experiences in line with the quality strategy.
* Accurately represent the company's organizational performance
* Support information and training programs to develop knowledge, competencies (technical, regulatory and behavioural) and expertise at all levels.
* Develops and implements framework-based, high-quality orientation and training programs for all staff areas
* Develop and manage an integrated project team approach to quality with other framewor
