Site Manager

One of our main clients require a Site Manager on a freelance basis!

The Project

Working as a Freelance Site Manager, you will be carrying out new build and fit out works on a large Aldi distribution centre based in Wickford, Essex. You will be ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard along with client satisfaction.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS (black card)
* First Aid

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Holds a previous track record of successful new build / fit out projects
* Experienced in the industry

Additional skills;

* Indicate being a team leader
* Have confidence in your role
* Strong working knowledge of working in the construction industry



The Role

* Job Title: Site Manager
* Project: New build and fit out works on a large Aldi distribution centre based in Wickford, Essex.
* Duration: 5 Months
* Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Duties

* Health & Safety
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Participate in site discipline meetings
* Ensure project is delivered to a high standard, on time and to budget
* Management of on-site labour & ensuring site is clean and tidy at all times
* Assist in the preparation of RAMS & ensure they are reviewed and signed off on a daily basis
* Daily reports to the contracts manager identifying any risks and opportunities at an early stage
* Maintain daily records including progress pictures within project file to support management
