SIte Supervisor / Site Manager - Leeds - Civils / Drainage exp

The Company



Our client is a renowned contractor specialising in ground works and civils within the utilities sector. With more than 14 years of experience, they have established themselves as a highly respected company. In light of several recent contract wins, they are now seeking to expand their team.



The Project



As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects in the Yorkshire and North West regions, focusing on health and safety management across various ground works civil projects, primarily within the utility sector.



Key Responsibilities:



* Order necessary plant and materials to support the smooth operation of three gangs, each consisting of three people.
* Provide supervision and guidance to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
* Maintain a strong focus on health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success.
* Utilize your expertise in civil and drainage works to drive project execution and achieve desired outcomes.
* In recognition of your commitment and contribution, our client will provide you with a 4x4 vehicle and fuel card, enabling you to carry out your duties effectively and efficiently.



To succeed in this role, you should possess:



* Solid experience in civil and drainage works, preferably in the utility sector.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate teams.
* Excellent organizational and communication abilities to manage project timelines and effectively liaise with stakeholders.

Requirements



For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS / SSSTS
* Driving Licence
* CSCS Card (Black / Gold)
* Civils and Drainage experience
* Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of SHEQ procedures
* Experience running multiple sites at once
