The Project
As an experienced Freelance Site Engineer, you will be working for a specialist subcontractor on a £500m Redevelopment project in West London. Our client is managing a large steel work package which includes up to 20,000 ft of structural steel work. You will oversee the practical and technical engineering elements and play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of the project as well as working closely with the senior management team.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* CSCS Card
* Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
Additional skills;
* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Experience of using Leica Robotic TS15 kit
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Previous experience on similar projects with similar build values
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Duties
* Surveying
* Setting Out
* Problem solving
* Quality Assurance
* Adhere to current H&S regulations
* Create as built surveys and log data
* Attend and contribute in project related meetings
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Provide progress updates to The Senior Management Team
* Provide Technical Advice to Project Team members and Clients
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team
