Permanent Way Design - ad hoc - remote - outside IR35

Our client is a burgeoning consultancy working on a growing portfolio of projects for clients around the country. Workload continues to peak and they have made the decision to seek engineering support in the wider market.

We are looking to engage an experienced P-Way Design engineer to provide remote engineering services for as many hours a week as they are able to offer. This work will particularly suit someone with a current contract who is looking to supplement their hours and maintain their status outside IR35 by supplying multiple clients.

The work will be 100% remote (although you may need to attend meetings occasionally).

To apply for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

* Proven permanent way design engineer with demonstrable experience
* Background in either plain line or S&C
* Applicants should ideally have followed an academic path commensurate with their level, IE HNC-BEng-MSc-IEng-CEng
* Consultative in attitude and highly communicative
* Skilled I using relevant design software such as INrail, Bentley, Microstation and AutoCAD
* Happy to work remotely
* Currently based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK
