Our client specialises in the repair and maintenance of buildings, structures and highways. With over 50 years' experience in their field, they are trusted and well respected throughout the UK.



The Project

As a Site Engineer, you will carry out work on multiple infrastructure developments.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* HNC / NVQ or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

For this role it is desirable that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of engineering principles and CDM Regs

The Role

* Job Title: Site Engineer
* Location: East Anglia
* Duration: Permanent
* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

* Supervising works
* Attend team briefs
* Testing of site materials
* Ordering materials & plant
* Facilitate agreement of variations
* Attend in-house progress meetings
* Carrying out pre contract site surveys
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting out Sites and organising facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Completion of site inductions and TBTs when needed
* Management of the project quality plan and QA records
* Keep up to date and accurate site diaries & other site admin
* Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Organising labour and plant and materials for a number of projects
