The Company

A well established and diverse contractor, looking to expand their portfolio by delivering high-end new build and refurbishment contracts within the public sector, specialising in commercial, hospitality, leisure, retail and healthcare divisions on a nationwide basis.

The Project

As a highly experienced Site Engineer based in Scotland and operating all accross the country, you will be working on a range of New Build and Refurbishment projects including galleries, hospitals, hotels, offices and industrial units, valued between £10m - £80m. You will liaise closely with the team to ensure the project meets program deadlines and is delivered within budget.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card



Additional skills;

* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Previous experience on similar projects with similar build values

* Reporting to: Project Manager



Duties

* Surveying
* Setting Out
* Problem solving
* Quality Assurance
* Adhere to current H&S regulations
* Create as built surveys and log data
* Attend and contribute in project related meetings
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Provide progress updates to The Senior Management Team
* Provide Technical Advice to Project Team members and Clients
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team
