Joinery Workshop Manager
The Company
A privately owned Principal Contractor based in West Yorkshire are looking to expand their Joinery team due to recently securing new projects within the Residential, Commercial and Leisure sectors with projects valued up to £10m+.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
For this role you must possess the following;
* 5 Years + Experience in Managing a Joinery Workshop
* Ensuring all Joinery work is manufactured to specification, time and budget
* Demonstrate a high ability of Quality Assurance and Control throughout production
The Role
As the Joinery Workshop Manager you will manage a team of Bench Joiners in the manufacturing of fixings and sets on a wide range of Residential, Commercial and Leisure projects across Yorkshire and the North West.
Duties
* Managing and overseeing the wider Joinery team thoughout the manufacturing processes
* Monitoring workload
* Providing solutions to ensure targets are met any risks are mitigated
* Manage quality of all workshop employees
* Health and safety standards are met and adhered to
* Enforce thorough quality assurance and control throughout production
* Chairing weekly planning meetings with personnel
* Ensuring that all applicable maintenance is carried out to workshop equipment & machinery and any repairs are actioned in a timely manner
* Ordering materials
* Ensuring good housekeeping of the workshop
