Our client has been established within the North West construction industry for over 35 years with a track record of exceeding client expectations. A Company with over £75m turnover and 200+ employees is looking to bring on quality personnel due to recent project wins.

The Project

As a Site Engineer you will aid in the development of a highways and University site in Manchester City Centre.

Requirements

It is also essential that you hold the experience & skills below;

* HNC or Degree in civil engineering
* Valid CSCS Card
* Your own Setting Out Kit (Leica, Trimble, etc)

It is also essential that you are experienced in the following;

* Experience in setting out kerbs, ducting, drainage

The Role

* Job Title: Site Engineer
* Project: Setting out on Highway & Uni Campus
* Duration: 5 Months
* Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

* Site setting out
* Quality assurance
* Interpreting drawings
* Reporting to senior site team
* Overseeing of subcontractors
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Setting out kerbs, drainage, ducting, paving
* Providing Technical Advice; Problem Solving
* Development of method statements and risk assessments
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
