The Project
As a highly experienced Bid Writer you will work closely with Bid Managers, Proposal Managers and Designers to create and manage prequalification and tender submissions for projects within the public sector. You will oversee, monitor and offer advice on the preparation and updating of project programmes, tender planning, bid coordination, logistics planning and pre qualifications.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
* Degree or equivalent level qualification within a relevant topic
* APMP qualified or open to participating in training to attain the qualification
It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Basic Adobe InDesign / InCopy skills would be beneficial
* Possess strong research skills and effective questioning techniques
* Capable of thinking creatively and solving problems efficiently while working under tight deadlines
* Having experience in a related field, such as construction, engineering, or property, would be beneficial
* Capable of establishing effective relationships with individuals at all levels and fostering confidence and trust with management in a timely manner
* Demonstrate proficient writing skills and provide proof of creating written content that contributed to winning bids

Duties
* Generate and amend presentations
* Conduct peer reviews of other writing
* Create and edit pre-qualification documents
* Attend meetings with group/framework managers
* Capture and gather evidence to support submissions
* Liaise with the wider Pre-construction team for technical content
* Manage the submission content as part of the wider bid process
* Produce promotional / marketing materials and award submissions
* Be responsible for managing related framework asset library content
* Create written material for important public sector national frameworks
