The Project

As a highly experienced Bid Coordinator you will assist on prequalification and tender submissions for the North East & Yorkshire region. You will oversee, monitor and offer advice on the preparation and updating of project programmes, tender planning, bid coordination, logistics planning and pre qualifications. You will play a key role in collecting tender information and producing project data sheets on various new build / refurbishment schemes across residential, commercial, leisure, education, MoJ and MoD sectors. This position offers hybrid working from home/ office, applicants can be located within a commutable distance to the Leeds or Newcastle office.



Requirements



For this role it is essential that you hold the following experience below;



* Industry specific knowledge of Bid Writing / Coordination within the Construction market



It is also essential that you hold the skills below;

* A proven track record of success working with a Main Contractor or Subcontractor
* Strong IT Skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Experience of most forms of contract
* Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
* Strong communication and attention to details
* Indication of strong interpersonal and people skills
* Relevant software skills with some of the following programmes; Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe, Microsoft Project, Focalpoint, Lotus Notes, Docspro, Dochosting

* Collect tender information

* Maintaining all updates on software
* Attend regular meetings with the team
* Generate and amend presentations
* Keep up to date with all project details
* Recording and gathering relevant information
* Capture and gather evidence to support submissions
* Prepare and establish regular subcontract meetings
* Efficiently take care of arranging collaborative occasions
* Manage the submission content as part of the wider bid process
* Liaise with the wider Pre-construction team for technical content
* Construct and develop relationships with important business sector teams
