Working Foreman

A Construction Contractor based in the North West that has a track record of delivering high quality projects across the Residential sector with values up to £7m+.

The Role

Working Foreman to manage and deliver a conversion of a residential house into an HMO assisted living property.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

As the Working Foreman, you must possess the following;

* 2+ years' experience working as a Foreman on residential refurbishment or conversion projects
* Ideally from a Joinery / Bricklaying background
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced construction environment
* SMSTS
* 3 Day First Aid

Duties

* Prepared be on the tools as and when required
* Ordering materials
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Liaising with internal sub-contractors
* Conducting quality and safety inspections
* Ensuring work is finished to a high standard
* Reporting on project progress to senior managers
* Ensuring high quality of workmanship is maintained at all times
* Supervising site labour (both directly employed and sub-contract)
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Assist in the supervision of construction workers and subcontractors
* Overseeing project schedules and ensuring working is completed on time
* Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspection
* Ensuring a safe and tidy site is maintained at all times and that site rules are adopted by all site personnel
