Site Supervisor

The Company

A Civil Engineering & Construction Company that has over 35 years' worth of experience. They are looking to bring on a Site Supervisor due to a contract win in Basildon.

The Project

As an experienced Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the works on a Residential Care Home development.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience as a minimum;

* SSSTS or SMSTS
* 2 years + experience as a Site Supervisor
* Be able to write and keep daily diary/record sheets
* Be able to supervise a team Confident in taking information from drawings
* A good knowledge of finishing, groundworks, drainage and roads (278 works)

Duties

* Overall Groundworks Supervising
* Monitor and produce good quality of work
* Setting out and coordinating the groundwork
* Overseeing the groundworks, drainage and finishing of the development
* Ensuring that safety plans and method statements are adhered to onsite by all operatives and sub-contractors
* Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
* Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
