Senior Project Manager

A well established, family run, construction contractor with over 40 years in the build industry. They have a vast portfolio of developments, have successfully delivered an array of projects and have upcoming tenders in the pipeline in excess of £250m+ They operate across various sectors such as commercial, retail, leisure, industrial, residential and education. Their shining recommendations and growth is shown through the many accreditations and construction industry awards.

The Project

As a highly experienced Senior Project Manager, you will be working on a £30m New Build development in Leeds City Centre. You will play a crucial role within the team and wider business to ensure that all works are continuously completed to specification, in budget and on time.



Requirements



For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Card



It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* Previous experience working with a Tier 1 leading contractor on similar projects with similar build values



The Role

* Job Title: Senior Project Manager
* Job Type: Permanent
* Project: £30m New Build Development in Leeds City Centre
* Reporting to: Construction Director



Duties

* Able to read and understand drawings
* Reliable with strong time management skills
* Conduct meetings on-site with architect, client and construction team
* Planning and monitoring works and regularly reviewing the programme
* Oversee each turn-key project, including details like permit submission and design evaluations
* Work with the client from the start of the project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
* Oversee the project from conception to the completion, interacting with both construction professionals and the client
* Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
* Take responsibility for the overall performance of the project including, quality, programme, client satisfaction, commercial performance and delivery
* Fully responsible for the successful operational delivery of Projects on site ensuring safety, product quality, are completed within the contracted timescales, safely and within financial controls
* Strong leadership skills including experience in leading site teams, large programmes of work and has the confidence and ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
