Temporary Works Coordinator


The Company

A tier 1 principal contractor in engineering and construction firm which has been operating for over 80 years. A company with over £400m in revenue and 500 + employees is looking to expand due to recent contracts being awarded.

The Project

As an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator, you will oversee the setup, maintenance and removal of temporary works on a large civil infrastructure project.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications, skills and experiences as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience carrying out the role of Temporary Works Coordinator on a large civil infrastructure project

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Temporary Works Qualification / certificate
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

The Role

* Job Title: Temporary Works Coordinator
* Job Type: Permanent
* Location: Birmingham
* Reporting to: Technical Director

Duties

* Ensure that checks are made at appropriate stages
* Producing a 4-week lookahead programme for the section
* Plan, manage and monitor the TW design through to completion
* Maintain Temporary Works documentation within the site management system
* Raising any technical queries in a timely manner to avoid delays on the design programme
* Ensuring the Temporary Works register is up to date and close out prior to final assurance stages
* Carrying out daily inspections on the Temporary works and record the information in the TW Inspection form
