Contracts Manager

The Company

A leading Principal Contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North West are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their operations team. At current, the business is operating across the residential and commercial sectors with projects valued up to £25m+.

The Role

Contracts Manager overseeing multiple Industrial, Residential and Commercial projects up to £25m across Yorkshire and the North West.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

As the Contracts Manager, you must possess the following;

* 5+ years' experience working as a Contracts Manager
* Prior experience working on Industrial, Residential and Commercial projects
* Prior experience of working on new build projects (£1 million - £25 million)
* Experience of working alongside commercial team to offer programme advice, buildability, sequence
* Demonstrate knowledge in the full construction process including (foundations, drainage, steelwork, concrete & cladding)
* Organised and process driven, being able to complete paperwork as required
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card

Duties

* Regular client liaising including chairing client meetings
* Ensure all company paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Make sure the site team adheres to the commercial policies and procedures.
* Attend tender handover sessions and provide the site team the pre-start meeting presentation
* Produce monthly client reports, assist the Project Managers with weekly reports
* Organise and lead meetings both internally and externally, and make sure that complete records of all conversations and activities are produced.
* Ensure weekly reviews of progress, financial resources, and forward planning, are conducted
* Ensure effective Health & Safety
* Organising directly employed labour and encouraging maximum productivity.
* Liaising with surveyors, architects, and clients.
