Surfacing Estimator

The Company

A UK specialist principal contractor with a turnover of £10m + a year. The company is based in South East but has locations across England and Scotland. They have been operating for over 15 years and have over 40 employees. Due to project wins they are looking to expand with a Surfacing Estimator.

The Project

As an experienced Surfacing Estimator, you will work on large commercial sites completing estimations for tarmacking / surfacing projects.

The role is 5 days working from home apart from when site visits are necessary (around Yorkshire and the Midlands).

The package includes car allowance and a £500 fuel card.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Card
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Prior experience as an Estimator / QS

It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

Duties

* Produce bills of quantities
* Prepare bid documents for surfacing
* Review and interpret contracts to make accurate decisions
* Develop and maintain with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain,negotiate, communicate and guide the process of your online bidding platform
