The Company
Our client has been in business for over 70 years in the construction & civil engineering sector. They have over 35 lives sites across Northern Ireland, Scotland and England where they employ over 500 employees. Due to large framework wins they are looking to expand.
The Project
As the Site Manager you will oversee the delivery of a large infrastructure development across the East Midlands.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;
* First Aid
* A Valid SMSTS
* A Valid CSCS / CSR
* Experienced as a Site Manager
It is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
* Experience on large infrastructure projects
* A Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
The Role

* Reporting to: Contracts Manager
DUTIES
* Maintaining HSE standards on site
* Responsible for quality of works on site
* Liaise with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required
* Administration / completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns
* Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project
* Managing subcontractors by ensuring the programme of works are completed
* Plan, coordinate & motivate effective deployment of allocated personnel and resources
* Promote & implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies
* Update weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & share with Project / Contracts Managers
* Managing project performance against targets and recognise and handle potential risks and opportunities
