The Project

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Externals Manager based in the North West to oversee the £5m Façade package on the construction of a £30m luxury hotel in Liverpool. The package focuses on brickwork but also includes curtain walling, SFS and glazing. You will ensure that this section of works is handed over on time, in budget and to a high standard

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* SMSTS
* CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* A proven history of working on large developments
* Experience of managing a similar packages, brickwork in particular, either for the main contractor or a specialist subcontractor on a major project

The Role

* Job Title: Externals Manager
* Project: £30m Hotel in Liverpool
* Duration: 12 Months+ or Temp to Perm for the right candidate
* Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties\

* Tool box talks
* Site inductions
* Updating and maintaining progress reports
* Coordinate and manage the façade elements of projects
* Monitoring and reviewing of program, budget and quality
* Providing a comprehensible package description to all sub-contractors
* Manage the site team and ensure all tasks and duties are in place correctly
* Take the lead in attending and participating in project related meetings with Senior Management and sub-contractors
* Overseeing the latest design is being adhered to by all site team and provide technical support and guidance
* Promoting health and safety and ensuring a safe working environment, allowing full compliance with health & safety policies
