The Company

Our client has been in business for over 70 years in the construction & civil engineering sector. They have over 35 lives sites across Northern Ireland, Scotland and England where they employ over 500 employees. Due to large framework wins they are looking to expand.



The Project

As an experienced Site Engineer, you will carry out work on a large infrastructure development which will benefit the lives of many.



We are looking for 1x Senior Engineer and 1x Site Engineers.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* First Aid
* CSCS Card
* Driving Licence
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Package

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Experience as an engineer on large infrastructure sites

Duties for Site Engineer



* Ordering Materials
* Supervising Works
* To attend Team Briefs
* Facilitate agreement of variations
* Attend in-house progress meetings
* Setting up and maintaining site control
* Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
* Ensuring compliance with works standards
* Setting out of roads, sewers and structures
* Review of Project Design and Specification
* Providing Technical Advice; Problem Solving
* Ensuring Projects Meet Agreed Specifications
* Organise and supervise temporary works when required
* Receiving and assessing design changes from the client
* Direct point of contact between the client and the company
* Undertaking Land, Stockpile and Construction Work Surveys
* Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
* Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
* Organising labour and plant and materials for a number of projects



Duties for Senior Engineer



* Surveying
* Setting Out
* Problem solving
* Quality Assurance
* Raises RFI's and CVI's
* Training others in setting out
* Supervising a team of Engineers
* Adhere to current H&S regulations
* Create as built surveys and log data
* Recognise extras and potential claims
* Attend and contribute in project related meetings
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Provide progress updates to The Senior Management Team
* Write letters to external companies for signature by the Agent
* Provide Technical Advice to Project Team members and Clients
